Yeah... I was thinking of writing a blog myself about a recent experience going to an arcade. The place just opened up, and it was a ghost town. Tragic, really.

I'm pretty sure the "size" is based on market cap. And market cap these days can be quite variable lately with how the stock market has been going. 5 years ago, Nintendo's market cap was in the crappy, thanks to the Gamecube. Now they are one of the biggest companies around, and Sony is suffering. That being said, still impressive.

You clearly were not at the same Konami event I was at last night. NN3 is Dynasty Warriors with prettier clothes (and a more eccentric game producer.) Nothing about NN3 screams God of War. And you must have not stuck around til the last presentation for the new 3D Castlevania game, which was very much like GOW.

Actually... I'm not sold on this. Effectively, now the developer is trying to design 4 games in one. Each with a unique artstyle and gameplay style. They run the risk of creating 4 games that aren't as fully fleshed out.
What was wrong with taking their open world GTA formula from before and developing it further? Spiderman in IMO should create a much more fun gameplay environment than Infamous or Crackdown combined.
To be honest, this should be EXPECTED. For Bungie to create a character as iconic as Master Chief, and then not use him to drive story telling through new games is just bad form.

I didn't give a whit about the 3DS announcement when it was first made, but all this chatter and speculation is now teasing my interest... I mean seriously, are people really interested, or are they just jumping on the hype anything bandwagon?

I'm curious to see how all the various decision making impacts the final outcome of the game. Heavy Rain, as an example, had lots of branching paths you can walk down, but ultimately the story still unfolded in a rather linear fashion.
The GDC Challenge has always been one of my favorite parts of the show. There's always some interesting stuff that comes from it.
